“This passage applied to the misgoverning of England regarding her American Colonies, but it equally serves Americans today regarding the Republican and Democratic Parties' Congressional "long Train of Abuses and Usurpations." It is time to wake up, America, and remove the political blinders that you mistakenly believe drive you to vote strictly for your party. Your party no longer exists for your benefit. The Parties exist solely for the survival and advancement of their organizations and their hold on control of our government. A vote for either major party presidential candidate is a vote for continuing that stranglehold on each and every one of us. It's time to say, "Enough!" It's time to vote for an independent, candidate with no political ties, political debts, or commitments to industry or party bosses. America needs someone who can make common sense decisions without biased outside influence making those decisions for him or her. Someone who can work for the people of America and the future of our great country.“

People, don’t believe all that hype on your TV. We have more options than the Media is showing us. I stand on the edge of this precipice with solutions to our problems. I will use clear thinking and logic, and I will make common sense decisions not based on outside influence. Politics will no longer get in the way of our future. Americans will come first, and no excuses when it comes to solving our problems. A "can do" attitude, goals, focus and positive thinking along with a commitment to the people is all that is needed. It is time that we take back our country from the lobbyist, big business and those ineffective career politicians (It is not to late!). We can do this, think Positive. Now is the time, we must bring our own invasion of new ideas and clear thinking to Washington, DC. One does not need a political machine to win this 2008 election. We need a people machine that can deliver a simple message across our great land. That message is "We the people matter. Our voices must be heard and listened to. We the people must declare our independence from the abuses and ineffective way of doing thing. We must have a people's President once again". The money thing...If a candidate can raise more money that another candidate that somehow makes him/her a better Presidential candidate? This is why we get the same kind of of leaders every four years with that logic and thinking. We should focus on the issues, not on how much money a candidate can raise. So this people machine does need money, yes, but not as much as one would think. If you donate $1 and or suggest this video to another, the message will spread. If you spread the word we can and will achieve victory.

Invite your friend over if they don't have a computer, we need this real message of hope to reach every living room, because that's were real change occurs.

My Name is Jerry Odom and I am a true working class American Citizen. I intend to be the first non-political driven, people orientated, goal driven, working class President unlike anything we have seen in a very long time. I seek to run for the office of the President of the United States of America, in the 2008 presidential election as an Independent, to give the American people independence from the corrupt and infective system of government that we now have. I seek to give the people a choice like they have never had before, one of their own....

 

I am not politically driven or financially motivated. And to prove that point I offer this promise: I will donate most of my presidential salary to some type of charity, not because I am rich, I am far from it, but because you don’t need that much money to provide a nice living for your family

 

And as a Father, I will not leave these problems for my daughter’s generation to fix or have to explain to her that the reason we could not solve this and other problems is because we as a people could not come together, to solve our greatest problems in our greatest time of need.
