If you find my views are similar to that of Lou Dobbs, that's because they are.. Lou Dobbs has ask for a common American, someone not of great priviledge, to rise to defend the American Middle Class and our way of life. A common sense leader of the people.
This is my answer to that call. Not to mention we really need Middle Class values in the White House. Our current choices are just not acceptable. They, for the most part, have forgoten who they represent.
POWER TO THE PEOPLE
I, Jerry Odom, believes that American citizens should be self governed and be the main influence on governmental policy instead of elite special interest groups.
AMERICA'S SOVEREIGNTY
I, Jerry Odom, will shut down the SPP (NAU) and any plans not approved by Congress that remotely favor a North American Union. I will protect America's right to exist as it own nation as we always have since our foundation.
STOPPING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION:
I, Jerry Odom, will secure the border, oppose any form of Amnesty for illegal aliens, and actually enforce our existing immigration laws, which call for merciless employer sanctions, no licenses or welfare benefits for illegal aliens, no birth right citizen ship and local authorities involved in immigration enforcement. America can expect 'Total Immigration Enforcement' starting on day 1! Also I will give illegal aliens 30 days to leave. An Odom Presidency would mean no more outside influence, no more special interest groups making decisions for us. Four years of Jerry Odom in the White House will lead to a safer and more secure America.
EDUCATION
An Odom Presidency will mean revamping our Education system and priorities this like never before. Absolute focus on the whole public school infrastructure; with an end result that every public school will be better than any private school. It is time that we stop messing around with this critical part of our Republic. It is a mess now and will be fixed.
FAMILY VALUES
Strong families are the bedrock of our nation and our culture. They are built around the sanctity of life and the institution of marriage, which is the union of a man and a woman.
TRADE AGREEMENTS AND THE ECONOMY
Jerry Odom is not happy with America's current trade agreements and economic policies, which I feel are destroying America's middle class. I will seek to renegotiate trade deals that are truly fair and are in the best interest of American citizens and I will curb corporate excesses that put American citizens at a great disadvantage. Implement a better tax system, like the Fair Tax, and stop the policy of outsourcing American jobs by assigning a high tariff
NATIONAL SECURITY
I, Jerry Odom, recognizes the rapidly growing military and espionage threat of communist China. While most Washington insiders ignore the clear and rising danger, because it would hurt their wallets, I will assure America's national security no longer takes a back seat to politics or corporate interests. America can not afford another September 11th because of more inaction. I will strengthen our military; also we need to strengthen local law enforcement with better tools for the 21st challenges to combat Crime and Terrorism.
PRIVACY AND FREEDOM
I, Jerry Odom, understands that there can be no freedom without privacy and I will work to assure that our nation is protected from terrorism while the privacy of American citizens is restored and defended.
FOREIGN WARS
I, Jerry Odom, will be a good choice to bring the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to a timely and successful conclusion. By removing the influence of corporate financial interests, that have proven their supremacy in the White House, from the decision making process involving a billion dollar a day war, true progress and a best case resolution could be achieved. I believe that American citizens should run the show in our nation; I would give those same freedoms and responsibilities to Iraqi citizens as soon as possible.
Also I will stop policing the world. It is not our job (America is not an empire!)
If a country wants democracy they should earn it like we did, as we are evident of what can be done. Our constitution does not say we must promote building mini America’s around the world, or spreading democracy around the world.
It is time for our soldiers to be re-united with their families and children. Having families torn apart is the real cost of war. Soldiers fight the wars, politicians start them. Enough of this.
GOVERNMENT
I, Jerry Odom, will use my background in Technology to stream line every aspect of American life. I this will save us billions.
CONSUMER PROTECTION
I, Jerry Odom, will work to assure more quality monitoring and testing of America's food supply and imported products to assure a higher level of safety for American consumers. In other words apply some common sense. This is actual a potential national security problem.
CORRUPTION
I, Jerry Odom, will launch extensive efforts to clean up Washington and restore the Rule of Law and other principles that are essential to our Republic. As a new sheriff in town, you can count on me to mercilessly seek out the special interests group and remove them. NO longer will they have place at our table. The American public will be the first order of importance to lawmakers.
ELECTION INTEGRITY
I, Jerry Odom, have many concerns about our voting system in general. An Odom Presidency would focus on revamp the whole federal election system to make it solid, secure and included every assurance of integrity
